About This Role:

Forrester is seeking an Instructional Designer and Curriculum Developer to play a key role in the transformation of our approach to sales training. You must share a passion for developing innovative and engaging learning solutions that address the evolving needs of the modern adult learner focusing on facilitation over delivery, practice over presentation, curation over curriculum creation.


You will be courageous in your commitment to the design and development of learning experiences that facilitate acquisition of knowledge, skills and competencies for our global sales organization. As a key member of the global sales training team, you will contribute to the development of creative standards for a blended approach curriculum that includes; ILT, VILT, eLearning, podcasts, video, just-in-time learning, gamification, and assessments.


  • Apply adult learning and the latest instructional design theories and technologies to design innovative content and activities that engage learners, improve performance and enhance the learning experience.
  • Develop sales tools including; scripts, job aids, role-play scenarios, learning activities, instructor-led presentations, facilitation guides and learner workbooks. \
  • Liaise with subject matter experts across the organization.
  • Define the criteria for learning performance and develop assessments.
  • Administer and maintain Cornerstone LMS content, curriculum and system capabilities.
  • Maintain awareness and knowledge of new trends and tools in learning & development.
  • Contribute to maintaining a collaborative and positive team culture.


  • Four to six years of experience in instructional design and curriculum development.
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in instructional design, instructional technology, or a related field.
  • Experience working with salespeople and an understanding of effective engagement strategies.
  • Extensive experience using digital content creation solutions such as Captivate, Articulate, Storyline, Camtasia, InDesign, Photoshop, or other similar software.
  • Solid curriculum design skills using instructional design best practices, with the ability to take complex tasks and/or subject matter and develop meaningful, simplified content.
  • Agile mindset, prioritizing impact over activity, with a bias toward simple action to test, learn, and improve.
  • Creative thinker willing to try new things in response to business needs.
  • Strong planning, project management, and time management skills with an ability to set and maintain priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong and transparent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
