    About This Role:


    As a Senior Advisor for the Enterprise Architecture (EA) Council for Forrester, you’ll have the opportunity to guide and influence business decisions of strategic importance to Forrester’s client companies. Leadership Board membership is a powerful decision-making tool that gives senior executives an edge. The EA Council, part of Forrester’s Leadership Boards, offers a network of peers, analysts, and advisors who connect members with leading practices to accelerate business growth.


    Our advisors speak the language of technology management and use their deep understanding of both Forrester’s peer network and how business works to design the moments where leaders inspire leaders. Our advisors enable Council members to harness the insights and experience of their peers for validation and best practices and deliver the best of Forrester’s forward-looking research to help leaders anticipate what’s next. Strong candidates are high performers with over eight years of related work experience.



    • Facilitate provocative exchanges among senior architecture leaders that enable them to challenge thinking and lead change within their organizations.
    • Build sustained, trusted relationships with your personal book of clients.
    • Influence EA leaders’ most important decisions by providing the right resources at the right time, in the context of your in-depth understanding of their business.
    • Work in multiple industries and across business technology disciplines to build client knowledge and credibility quickly.
    • Deliver in-person client experiences that inspire.
    • Fuel the growth of the EA Council by engaging in business development with our sales channel.


    • Eight-plus years of technology consulting or related IT experience.
    • Fluency in the key challenges and opportunities facing EA leaders.
    • Formal presentation and facilitation skills.
    • Experience coaching, guiding, and influencing senior business executives.
    • Strong leadership skills, including a track record of increasing responsibility and career growth.
    • Exceptional communication skills with senior audiences across all channels.
    • Strong business acumen and commercial understanding to support business growth in partnership with sales colleagues.
    • The ability to apply a structured approach to identifying, analyzing, and framing executive challenges.
    • Impeccable process, project management, and time management skills.
    • The willingness to travel up to two weeks per quarter.
    • A B.A. or B.S. degree with a strong academic record; an MBA or other advanced degree is a plus.
