About This Role

Forrester Research is seeking an Associate for its Executive Programs for CIOs and CMOs.

Executive Programs is a new service offering to meet the exclusive needs of this important target audience.  Members of the Executive Program group are the most senior Marketing and Technology leaders at $1B+ organizations with overall responsibility to lead the shift to customer obsession, define a customer experience aligned to the brand promise, provide customer insights to inform the business strategy, and recognize technology's impact on customers and the business.

 

The Associate will support the Executive Partners in serving the CIO and CMO Executive Program clients, ensuring a high-touch engagement and excellent customer experience. This position will report to the VP, Executive Programs.

Responsibilities

Business development support:

Help make prospecting meetings more successful by taking the responsibility over the following:

  • Perform background research on prospects - read through annual reports, key staff LinkedIn profiles, press releases, news articles, relevant Forrester research
  • Use the information to distill buyer profile, key company/prospect initiatives, links to our research, shared connections between Exec Partner and prospects,
  • Summarize findings for Executive Partners

Client delivery support:

Support execution of client meetings, strategy sessions, and data delivery by:

  • Schedule client meetings, ensure confirmation of key players and relevant materials are created and available
  • Leverage previous workshop agendas and help with the agenda setting of the meetings.
  • Maintain and leverage SalesForce data -- entering data, pulling reports, provide perspective on data for Executive Partner benefit
  • Pull relevant research for clients and feed up to the Executive Partner.
  • Assist with tracking and reporting of client engagement activities.
  • Administer allocation of paid service units to team members in the service of a quarterly team revenue goal, based on the amount of engagement programs developed and delivered in conjunction with Forrester analysts.

 

Support Executive Program product coordination:

Help with the further maturing and strategy executive of the Executive Program product by:

  • Collect client and stakeholder feedback to fuel product improvement efforts.
  • Support the product manager with pipeline tracking & reporting.
  • Be a product advocate internally and support internal product promotion activities.
  • Build strong internal connections with other Forrester teams.

Qualifications

  • A. or B.S. degree or equivalent and two to four years of work experience in sales, public relations, marketing, research, consulting, or a related field.
  • A strong client mindset with excellent communication skills to communicate effectively with executives.
  • Ability to process and organize high levels of activity.
  • A strong collaborator, working with a widely dispersed team of Executive Partners and stakeholders.
