About This Role

As a Business Analyst working with our web and mobile teams, you will work closely with our developers, architects, designers, and Agile product owners to support the implementation and testing of our web and mobile features as they move from ideas to launched code. You will bring to the team extreme attention to detail and enthusiasm for digging into complex issues that span multiple technical platforms. This is a great opportunity to know the inside details of our product's web and mobile experiences and ensure we continue to deliver high-quality digital tools to Forrester's clients.


  • Create user stories and detailed user scenarios that support web and mobile application development requests.
  • Collaborate with Agile team members to establish a product vision and analyze the tradeoffs between user goals and technical system constraints.
  • Assess the impact and risk of integrated system change requests.
  • Initiate pre-project feature and story grooming to identify high-value digital customer experience enhancements.
  • Analyze application and business domain data requirements to understand the data
  • flow from source to screen.
  • Perform testing of web and mobile system modifications to verify that solutions delivered address business and client needs.
  • Assist with UX discovery and validation research to help prioritize features and solutions that address end user needs.
  • Analyze metrics and user data to answer team inquiries and recommend actionable next steps.
  • Keep abreast of leading web and mobile technology best practices to recommend process improvements on an ongoing basis.
  • Maintain documentation of functional and technical business application rules.




Job Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required, preferably with coursework in information systems or information technology.
  • Two years of web or mobile technology experience.
  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, Flow Charts, Google Analytics, TestFlight, Rational Team Concert, and/or JIRA is preferred.
  • Experience working with APIs, content management systems, and search platforms.
  • Knowledge of Endeca, Salesforce, Koverse, and Teamsite is a plus.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
