About This Role:
The Program Manager provides a structured and personalized experience that leverages our analysts’ written research and deep market knowledge. The Program Manager works with clients and internal resources to align client business strategy with Forrester analysts based on coverage area and client needs; they then drive the engagement and ensure a high value delivery for actionable insights on client's business and technology challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with research analysts, consulting colleagues, customer success, and account sales teams.
  • Partner with analysts to develop in-depth understanding of content for product offerings (Program Managers may align specifically with certain research areas) and account teams to understand clients challenges.
  • Achieve a quarterly revenue under management and bookings goal in partnership with the sales and/or research organizations (dependent on account or product area alignment for each Program Manager).
  • Work with clients to clarify their needs and expectations in alignment with the advisory offerings and around a specific coverage area.
  • Write approaches that incorporate client’s needs and analyst capabilities while adhering to best practices and standard pricing for Forrester deliverables.
  • Manage and execute on all tasks related to advisory engagements for clients, including scheduling of calls, note taking, and expectation setting.Utilize internal systems to document and maintain the health and status of potential opportunities, engagements in flight, and those at risk of postponement/cancellation.
  • Follow-up on activities related to completed sessions, including product feedback, and quality of process and delivery.
  • Partner with account teams to educate clients and prospects on the value of advisory engagements.Develop and deliver proactive advisory agendas, proposals, and programs for your aligned area.

 

Qualifications

  • A strong track record of academic achievement; BA/BS degree minimum, with work experience ideally in a top-tier consulting or market research firm.
  • Someone who is extremely detail-oriented, highly organized, and a quick learner.
  • A high degree of proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated account and client relationship management skills.
  • Marketing and project management skills.
  • Business development and project scoping skills.
  • Superior critical thinking, communication, and writing skills.
  • Strong presentation and meeting facilitation skills.
  • A strong intellectual curiosity about business and consumers and the impact that technology has on them.
  • An understanding of the information technology industry (highly desired).
