About This Role:

The Research Associate works directly with a team of analysts who research, write, and publish reports to help make security and risk management professionals successful in their roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide timely and value-added research support for designated analysts.
  • Schedule and coordinate reference-customer and vendor interviews.
  • Assist in the creation of survey questions and fulfillment of surveys to collect data.
  • Analyze data and format into informative graphics for reports, webinars, and presentations.
  • Assist in the building of analytical models, maturity models, self-assessment tools, etc.
  • Conduct secondary research for published reports using industry sources, including competitive assessment and third-party data analysis.
  • Manage press and vendor community contacts.
  • Assist team managers with collecting and analyzing team performance metrics through data dashboards.
  • Become familiar with emerging subject matter such as digital customer experience technologies, mobile technologies, information security issues, big data, privacy, etc.

Qualifications

  • A B.A./B.S., with a strong academic record. All undergraduate majors are welcome to apply; any quantitative or statistics interest is a plus.
  • One to two years of varied undergraduate or postgraduate work experience.
  • A working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software.
  • Attention to detail and to building reusable resources like survey questions and formatted data outputs.
  • A passion for learning about technology, software development, and the problems it may solve.
  • Strong writing skills; this is a plus.
