    About This Role:


    This role is part of the US events logistics team and reports to the senior manager, US event operations. The Events Associate coordinates logistics for workshops and North American forums. The candidate for the Events Associate position must be fast paced, motivated, organized, detail oriented, and customer focused.


    • Coordinate Forrester workshops and US forum operations.
    • Manage communications, catering orders, budgets, room specifications, audiovisual, internet, signage, special events, and VIP travel.
    • Manage the Forrester event registration process, pre-event and onsite, to ensure a positive customer experience.
    • Coordinate rooming for events: Manage hotel room blocks and staff/VIP hotel reservations.
    • Coordinate workshop materials, including agendas, name badges, tent cards, posters, and workbooks.
    • Reconcile with the finance department for all events.
    • Travel to events to oversee onsite registration and event logistics.
    • Review processes for improvements, and explore new initiatives as needed.


    • A B.A./B.S. degree and a strong academic record with varied undergraduate work experience. 
    • A minimum of three years of experience coordinating events.
    • A detail-oriented approach and excellent organization and prioritization skills.
    • Strong verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • The ability to work independently and as a valued and contributing member of a team.
    • The ability to work on multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
    • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; HTML; Photoshop; and Illustrator.
    • The ability to travel to North American forums.
    • Previous experience with large, high-tech events is a plus.
