About This Role:

Join a high-growth team consulting with technology companies on the value of their solutions. The Forrester Total Economic Impact team publishes studies on the financial value of technology investments and decisions. Associate Consultants play a crucial role, supporting Consultants in all phases of the project. Associate Consultants act as the operational engine of the practice, maintaining and innovating processes, tools, and data that drive the efficiency and quality of our team and products. If you have an analytical mind, strong customer communication, writing and project management skills and enjoy learning about new technology, this is the position for you.


  • Act as a project facilitator and key contributor to consulting projects sold to senior-level marketing executives at technology organizations.
  • Support consulting staff on research/survey design, coordinating executive interviews and managing qualitative and quantitative data gathering.
  • Develop and edit project deliverables, including studies, presentations, interview guides, and infographics through coordination of internal and external resources.
  • Manage third-party providers including custom research vendors, translations vendors, and others.
  • Lead and support operational initiatives contributing to the success and growth of the TEI practice – team meeting planning and logistics, repositories of past project deliverables, data entry and reporting, and template updates.


  • BA/BS with a strong academic record with experience in a client/project management, marketing, or editorial/communications role. Technology or research experience preferred.
  • Superior communication skills, including presenting, writing, and data visualization with a high degree of intensity, follow-through, and collegiality.
  • A strong aptitude for and/or experience in project management; experience with vendor management is a plus. The ability to collaborate across and outside the organization to meet client needs.
  • A long-term desire to become a high-performing, autonomous Consultant delivering Total Economic Impact studies to marketing executives.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to effectively manage multiple projects and tasks.
