    About This Role:

    The Program Coordinator is aligned with Forrester’s Leadership Boards product. The Leadership Boards are an exclusive network of peers, analysts, and advisors who connect clients with leading practices for business growth. In total, the product offers 15 councils, each targeted at supporting a specific marketing and strategy or technology management executive role. 

    The Program Coordinator supports several Leadership Boards to help execute on a curriculum that delivers excellent member engagement and positively influences annual renewals. The Program Coordinator is accountable for in-person and virtual event logistics, the execution of program deliverables, and the curation of member-generated content.

    Responsibilities

    This position will support councils that serve technology leadership roles.

     

    Event planning 

    • Manage member communications surrounding events, including invites to and follow-up with members.
    • Partner with the council leader and advisors to create and maintain an event timeline that will update all necessary parties on next steps.
    • Work closely with the Leadership Boards events team to support onsite logistics and materials.

    Curriculum and collateral 

    • Work with the council leader to create and maintain an annual calendar of events.
    • Update marketing materials for the relevant councils on a quarterly basis.

    Content 

    • Maintain a list of ideas for program deliverables.
    • Propose innovative session formats for member meetings.
    • Curate, produce, and format member-generated content, such as peer exchange summaries and case studies.
    • Help create and populate meeting summary presentations following member meetings.

    Community

    • Manage the relevant councils’ online communities, LinkedIn, Twitter, newsletter, and other communication tools. 
    • Craft and distribute a monthly council digest (newsletter) highlighting reports, community events, peer insights requests, new members, and industry news.

    Operations

    • Keep distribution lists updated.
    • Support prospecting, including field marketing events.
    • Record meeting minutes from the weekly team meeting and other planning meetings.
    • Leverage reporting tools to support business intelligence.
    • Prepare and distribute effective communications to internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of initiatives.

    Surveys

    • Draft and execute member surveys, including the annual planning survey and benchmarking surveys.
    • Work with the council leader to apply survey insights to curriculum planning, exclusive research reports, member meetings, etc.
    • Create customized reports and insights for member participants.

    Qualifications

    • A strong academic background — a B.A. or B.S. is required.
    • A minimum of two years’ work experience.
    • Process and project management skills.
    • The ability to work effectively with a team in a fast-paced learning environment.
    • The ability to manage multiple projects and your own time.
    • A willingness to travel to Forrester events.
    • Computer skills — Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Familiarity with B2B social media — LinkedIn, Twitter.
