    About This Role:

    Reporting to a sales director, the Senior Account Manager has an assigned sales quota that requires cultivating and managing strong relationships with existing Forrester clients. The Senior Account Manager will upsell existing clients by demonstrating value to customers’ critical business issues; work with other account managers as necessary to formulate strategy; and be rewarded for client retention and growth sales. Some travel may be required.

    Responsibilities

    • Nurture and develop existing client relationships.
    • Generate incremental revenues from existing accounts.
    • Develop new and enrich existing executive-level relationships.
    • Efficiently manage time to focus on activities that grow revenues and ensure client satisfaction.
    • Maintain an appropriate incremental sales pipeline to achieve account enrichment goals.
    • Forecast accurately.
    • Understand our clients’ changing business and technology issues and needs.
    • Work to develop and execute on account plans that position Forrester as a strategic resource.
    • Communicate professionally to both internal and external audiences.

    Qualifications

    • A bachelor’s degree.
    • Eight or more years of proven success in client management or successful consultative or solution selling in the agency, media, or professional services industries.
    • Proven experience in managing multiple client relationships, achieving revenue goals, and managing personal sales strategies in a similar environment.
    • Digitally savvy; adept with social media platforms and comfortable with relevant social selling strategies
    • Effective organization and time management skills; impeccable written and phone communication skills.
    • A results-oriented team player with a thirst for learning new things.
    • Someone who is conversant in leading-edge consumer advertising, marketing, and business technology trends.
    • Someone who has sold to the CMO and/or CIO suite.
