  • Overview

Fuel your intellectual curiosity and professional growth. Forrester is an idea company, where smart, motivated, curious people bring a diversity of opinions and the courage of their convictions to collaborate on ideas that change the course of business. Most of all, bring a point of view; here, every voice has value. At Forrester, you’ll work with innovative clients at emerging and established brands; these are the business and technology leaders we inspire and who inspire us. The Forrester experience is built on a singular, powerful purpose: to challenge thinking and lead change.

    About This Role:

Forrester is looking for a strong storyteller to join its content team. This individual will be responsible for understanding — and digging into — the issues and challenges that are facing our prospects and customers today. You’ll be tasked with developing content that places the customer as the protagonist of the story and helps them gain an understanding of how Forrester can help them overcome their challenges. The ideal candidate will not only have strong writing skills; he or she will be curious, a strong critical thinker, and willing to dive into new topics and concepts without hesitation. This role requires the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced changing environment.

    • Collaborate on content strategy.
    • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and customer challenges in order to build a more effective editorial calendar and content.
    • Collaborate with designers, product marketing, sales, and business line leads to produce relevant content — whether that’s a blog post, video, digital booklet, etc. — that meets the needs of key stakeholders, prospects, and customers.
    • Research and/or interview internal experts to capture ideas and distill complex ideas into effective, clear communications.
    • Create and collaborate on content to help prospects and customers navigate the buyer’s journey; this content will tell Forrester’s brand story and drive demand.
    • Project manage content projects from start to finish.

    • A./B.S. degree in marketing, communications, journalism, public relations, or equivalent discipline preferred.
    • Minimum five to seven years’ full-time experience as a communications or content marketing professional.
    • Prior experience marketing to CIOs, CMOs, and heads of business lines; this is a plus.
    • Organized, proactive, independent, and deadline-driven.
    • Great critical thinking skills.
    • Ability to translate complex or abstract concepts into clear, concise communications.
    • Ability to understand new topics quickly and create content that educates prospects and customers.
    • Experience creating, adapting, and unifying content for various channels.
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
    • Persistent and tenacious in driving results.
    • A dual-minded approach: You’re highly creative and an excellent communicator but can also be process-driven and rely on data to make decisions.
