At Forrester, you’ll work with innovative clients at emerging and established brands; these are the business and technology leaders we inspire and who inspire us. The Forrester experience is built on a singular, powerful purpose: to challenge thinking and lead change.

    About This Role:

The Researcher is a critical member of Forrester’s digital business research team. This team performs primary research and business and technology analysis, writes actionable reports, and advises clients to help advance the initiatives and success of digital business leaders. Clients work with Forrester to inform and accelerate their strategic decisions, understand software market trends, and compare their strategy with industry best practices.

The Researcher plays a key role supporting the team’s analysts to produce high-quality reports, presentations, and client advisory materials. A successful Researcher is self-motivated, proactive, and highly collaborative. Qualified candidates will demonstrate a strong interest in healthcare digital strategy and associated technologies, such as consumer healthcare technology, healthcare analytics, and virtual care technology. Experience in digital strategy development, design, software development, or mobile apps is extremely helpful.

    • Assist analysts in conducting research, analyzing findings, and producing reports and presentations.
    • Design and conduct interviews and surveys to gain insight into practices and priorities of software teams.
    • Participate in vendor briefings, client inquiries, webinars, and industry events to help the team stay on top of industry trends and best practices. Help the research team interface with Forrester sales, marketing, and editorial teams.

    • A strong track record of academic achievement — a bachelor’s degree at a minimum.
    • At least one year of work experience in the healthcare industry, as a practitioner, consultant, or supplier to the healthcare industry or as a researcher covering healthcare-related topics.
    • A strong understanding of healthcare digital strategy design and implementation.
    • Familiarity with software development, technologies, and tactics such as web and mobile development tools or platforms, testing practices and tools, and Agile practices; this would be advantageous, but it is not a prerequisite.
    • A strong track record of report writing and an excellent command of the English language.
    • The ability to work with a team under tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks.
    • The ability to work independently without day-to-day supervision and as part of a global research team.
    • Someone who is analytical, articulate, organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
    • Superior communication skills.
