    About This Role:

    Forrester Research is seeking a VP, Executive Partner for its Executive Programs for CIOs.

    Members of the Executive Program group are the most senior Marketing, Digital and Technology leaders at $1B+ organizations with overall responsibility to lead their firm’s shift to customer obsession, define a customer experience aligned to the brand promise, provide customer insights to inform the business strategy, lead digital transformation efforts and recognize technology's impact on customers and the business.


    The VP, CIO Executive Partner will be responsible for further growing this offering and developing and maintaining strong relationships with the Executive Program members and the entire Forrester ecosystem. He/she will serve as a strategic business advisor to Executive Program members by advising them, pushing their thinking, serving as an executive coach, collaboratively developing strategy, and providing them with actionable feedback on their activities and deliverables. This position reports to the VP, of Executive Program Lead.


    The VP, CIO Executive Partner is responsible for the member growth, member satisfaction, member retention and ongoing engagement with his/her Executive clients. He/she must possess the relevant executive-level technology experience and strategic thought-leadership to challenge members’ thinking. Specifically, the Executive Partner will:


    • Exceed aggressive business metrics for the offering, including:

                 Product bookings
                 Client satisfaction and retention
                 Overall account enrichment

    • Serve as a strategic advisor to Executive Program clients by advising them, pushing their thinking, serving as an executive coach, collaboratively developing strategy, and providing them with actionable feedback on their activities and deliverables Actively engage Executive Program clients to understand their success criteria and further their success with their key initiatives.
    • Engage with Executive Program clients’ direct reports through in-person and phone conversations.
    • Build and maintain client engagement  plans that help convey value delivered throughout the client relationship and strengthen the case for renewal
    • Build strong connections with other Forrester functions including Research, Leadership Boards, Consulting, and Data to be able to represent all of Forrester and bring Forrester resources to bear with his/her clients.
    • Provide proactive sales support to Forrester’s sales organization and directly to prospects. Add and nurture existing prospects and opportunities.
    • Support sales teams in prospecting and selling activities, including participation in proof-of-capability calls with prospective members.
    • Be a thought leader in the space by representing Forrester in social channels and speaking at external events.

    • 15+ years of proven experience in technology leadership
    • Experience in the role of CIO, CTO, CDO or other technology executive.
    • Intimately familiar with technolgy best practices and challenges facing these executives across multiple industries.
    • A professional attitude and the ability to create positive impressions with C-suite executives through all channels of communication.
    • Experience with client service with executives at large, multi-national organizations.
    • Strong collaboration, partnering, and influencing skills — getting the most and best out of the collaborative relationships; keeping people informed, influencing and partnering to ensure success.
    • A passion for technology and where it supports the business to better win, serve, and retain customers.
