Fuel your intellectual curiosity and professional growth. Forrester is an idea company, where smart, motivated, curious people bring a diversity of opinions and the courage of their convictions to collaborate on ideas that change the course of business. Most of all, bring a point of view; here, every voice has value. At Forrester, you’ll work with innovative clients at emerging and established brands; these are the business and technology leaders we inspire and who inspire us. The Forrester experience is built on a singular, powerful purpose: to challenge thinking and lead change.

    About This Role:

As a key member of the marketing team, you’ll partner with all parts of the business in the creation and management of one-time and automated email campaigns to nurture audience segments, increase client adoption and consumption of Forrester services, maximize customer experience, and drive bookings tied to the targets of product and sales teams.

The ideal candidate is results-oriented and data-driven with a proven track record of planning and executing end-to-end, targeted, contextual marketing campaigns.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage, build, and optimize multichannel demand generation campaigns (social, email, and web).
    • Support our global/local demand generation efforts by launching and localizing regional campaigns across Asia and Europe.
    • Demonstrate a clear understanding of how to execute perpetual and periodic campaigns following an early-, mid-, and late-stage buying logic.
    • Work in Eloqua to help build out campaigns inclusive of landing pages and emails.
    • Support our efforts to optimize the web for demand by ensuring the web becomes a critical part of our nurture campaigns, introduces new concepts around personalization, and supports the growth of our inbound channel.
    • Be able to quickly grasp a clear understanding of our measurement environment at the diagnostic level in order to build out optimization plans against campaigns.
    • Partner closely with the operations team, including the new Eloqua hire, to execute campaigns and support our marketing automation and martech investments.
    • Provide support in our mission to introduce native marketing automation functionality to campaigns, lead scoring, progressive profiling, etc.
    • Manage closed-loop reporting with sales to gain feedback and communicate campaign activities.

    Qualifications

    • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in marketing or communications; a master's degree is a plus.
    • At least five years of marketing experience within the B2B space in the professional services, technology vendor, or research arena.
    • Hands-on experience in email marketing, lead nurturing, customer life-cycle engagement, campaign management, marketing automation, and web analytics.
    • Direct working experience developing and activating content for email and social channels.
    • A customer-first approach to understanding market and customer needs, and the ability to translate those needs into provocative content and messages that speak to each audience segment and drive desired behavior.
    • A results-driven, innovative thinker who applies best and next practices and experiments with new methods to improve impact.
    • Project management experience to deliver results on time and within budget with limited direction.
    • Knowledge of legal/policy issues and email best practices including targeting, creative, messaging, and email performance metrics.
    • Provide writing samples for both email and social channels
