    About This Role:

    The Catering Coordinator is a member of the corporate services team and is responsible for ensuring that catering requests are supported with consistent, high-quality catering and a professional, service-oriented manner while maintaining costs. Hours for this position are from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with occasional early-morning or early-evening hours as our catering needs require.


    • Coordinate relationships with catering vendors — including menu development, ordering, invoicing, and returning of service items post-event.
    • Monitor and respond to catering request forms and keep database updated with order and invoice status as well as vendor information.
    • Provide the setup and timely clearing of catering in designated meeting rooms.
    • Wash and put away all dishes, coffee pots, serving utensils, platters, etc. throughout the day.
    • Maintain the catering kitchen inventory, including snack and beverage inventory, service utensils, dishes, glassware, baskets, etc. Maintain a neat and organized supply closet.
    • Maintain catering kitchen cleanliness. Follow a daily closing checklist to ensure a neat, organized, clean workspace for the following day.
    • Ensure that client meeting spaces are ready; make ongoing checks on client conference rooms to maintain cleanliness, supplies, and neatness. Maintain the client coffee area in the lobby throughout the day.
    • Support corporate office events and holiday events, including menu development, food ordering, setup, and breakdown; supervise onsite servers/bartenders as needed.
    • Contribute to the upkeep of employee coffee machines in the main break room, including daily refilling and weekly cleaning.
    • Contribute to the team’s backup coverage of the front reception desk for the receptionist during lunch, breaks, and the day as needed.


    • Two to three years of food and beverage experience in the hospitality, catering, and/or hotel industries.
    • Experience working with high-level clientele in a professional corporate environment.
    • A team player.
    • The ability to maintain budgets and policies set in place for the catering program.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    • The ability to lift racks of dishes and kitchen supplies. Candidates must be able to lift 50 pounds.
