    About This Role:

    The Associate Account Manager focuses on growing and deepening relationships with Forrester’s high-tech clients in the San Francisco Bay Area. This position has an assigned sales quota that requires cultivating and managing strong relationships, driving client engagement, and focusing on selling additional products and services. This is an excellent opportunity to accelerate your professional sales growth and work with some of the biggest disruptors in the technology space.

    Responsibilities

    • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
    • Generate incremental revenue from existing clients by selling Forrester products.
    • Practice effective time management.
    • Build and maintain a sales pipeline to achieve client enrichment goals.
    • Partner with the product and research ecosystem to create solutions that meet client needs.
    • Understand our clients’ changing business and technology issues and needs.
    • Develop and execute on account plans that position Forrester as a strategic resource.
    • Maintain quality relationships to retain clients and win referrals to new clients.
    • Present to executive-level relationships on the ultimate value proposition of Forrester.

    Qualifications

    • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
    • Two to three years of proven sales success in client management or consultative selling.
    • Effective organization and time management skills.
    • Excellent communication skills across channels (e.g., phone, email, social, in person).  
    • A results-oriented team player.
    • Access to a car or transportation to visit Bay Area clients.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
