The Forrester experience is built on a singular, powerful purpose: to challenge thinking and lead change.
About This Role:
Senior Analysts conduct innovative research and deliver advice through written reports, consulting, client inquiries, and speeches. Contributing to Forrester’s CIO team, the Senior Analyst serves senior tech management leaders such as CIOs, CTOs, and chief digital officers who are increasingly responsible for delivering excellent customer and employee experiences that drive positive business outcomes for their company.
The Senior Analyst writes to, presents to, and advises CIOs and other senior technology leaders on Forrester’s research that addresses the strategic needs of CIOs worldwide. In particular, this Senior Analyst will research concepts, frameworks, and best practices on how talent management solutions can contribute to the CIO’s technology agenda and improve the employee experience. The research efforts will include identifying trends in talent management applications and people/workforce analytics with a secondary focus on learning management, employee wellness, and recognition tools. The Senior Analyst will track and understand the respective vendor landscape and strategic partners for these areas (from large established ERP vendors to emerging niche technology providers and everything in between) and convey the information to CIOs and senior tech leaders.
The Senior Analyst should have a strong understanding of the business and technology issues facing CIOs today, an appetite for conducting and writing research to stay abreast of the issues, and the desire to engage directly with clients to lead positive change in their organizations.
