    About this Role:

    The Principal HR Business Partner will support and enhance the corporate culture while providing human resources to the most senior leaders in Forrester’s businesses and functions. This person will partner with executive team members and global senior leaders to drive all areas of the employee experience, including talent and performance management, employee engagement, compensation planning, organization design, and change management.


    • Influence and coach executive team members and their direct reports on their leadership and talent practices, with a focus on driving collaboration, alignment, and a mindset of doing what’s best for our clients and the company.
    • Partner with senior leaders to develop and drive the employee experience activities and processes that support business initiatives. Provide strategic and operational HR leadership on a variety of HR and business-related projects. Offer input on decisions that require sound HR practices and perspectives.
    • Collaborate with leaders to develop workforce strategy and identify staffing needs. Advise leaders on organizational structure, headcount planning, and promotion/salary planning.
    • Advise managers on employee relations and performance management practices. Drive strategic growth processes within the organization, such as the annual competency benchmarks, talent review process, and succession planning.
    • Review and analyze data related to employee headcount, terminations, onboarding/ramping, and compensation to identify trends and recommend strategies for improvement.
    • Work with senior leaders and the performance, learning, and culture team to assess the learning, change management, or cultural needs of the organization and develop appropriate avenues to help the organization meet those needs.
    • Collaborate with all other employee experience functions, including talent acquisition and total rewards, as well as with all finance functions, to effectively and efficiently support the leaders and, ultimately, the employee base within their functions.


    • A B.A./B.S., with eight to 10 years of relevant business partner experience.
    • A demonstrated record of success in partnering with the business to drive business results.
    • Proven success managing employee relations programs, plus the ability to coach and advise executives and senior leaders.
    • Strong business acumen and the demonstrated ability to influence and execute on complex business initiatives.
    • The ability to build rapport with internal clients.
    • A highly collaborative work style, low ego, and curious mindset, with the ability to develop a point of view.
    • Executive-level communication skills.
    • Excellent influencing, communication, conflict resolution, and presentation skills.
    • Strong analytical skills and the ability to think systematically.
    • Demonstrated project and time management skills, with an ability to set and maintain priorities to meet deadlines.
    • The ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment, handle a multitude of tasks, and adapt to change.
