    About This Role:

    Join a cross-disciplinary team designing a global brand. We’re looking for a designer who can translate Forrester’s leading-edge research into compelling visual stories. Reporting to the design director, the Graphic Designer will be dedicated to creating beautiful, compelling, and memorable materials, including information graphics, iconography, presentations, online interfaces, collateral, and motion graphics. Members of Forrester’s design team produce videos and podcasts, create motion graphics, illustrate marketing materials, design websites/apps, and conduct usability tests. We each work on a variety of projects in different media, supported by solid design skills, career development resources, and camaraderie.


    • Reinforce brand guidelines with clean typography and compelling narrative graphics.
    • Contribute to a strong, clear aesthetic and to high design and production standards.
    • Integrate client, business, and process requirements.
    • Define and follow creative briefs and schedules.
    • Contribute to a positive, collaborative team.
    • Seek new areas of design and technical growth for individual and team development.

    Sample projects:

    • Design the identity for a new product, including logo, online ads, and core graphics.
    • Create thematic website imagery that reinforces and expands the Forrester visual style with clarity.
    • Collaborate with developers to style an interactive data display.
    • Design a series of infographics — both long-form and bite-size social versions.
    • Storyboard and design motion graphics.
    • Record and edit podcasts.


    • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or equivalent work experience.
    • Three years in a graphic design or production design position within a creative team.
    • Strong typography and design aesthetic.
    • High-quality execution and organization skills with great attention to detail.
    • Excellent presentation, communication, and writing skills.
    • Expertise in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and After Effects.
    • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
    • Ongoing interest in emerging technologies and global issues.
    • Active participation in weekly critiques to discuss work with the broader Forrester design community.
    • Experience with motion design, video and photo production and editing, or user interface design skills; these are a nice to have.
