    About This Role:

    This is an exciting time to join Forrester’s Technology Management development team as we tackle some big projects that are shaping the digital transformation of Forrester Research.  On a daily basis, you will be part of the team coming up with creative, simple fixes to knotty technical and user challenges. You will play a critical role in the Scrum team’s daily standups, testing, and demos. You will be responsible for ensuring that the design of business solutions meets short-term business functional requirements, is positioned for future functional requirements, and fits within the current architecture and strategic road map.


    • Work with the Product Owner to create new user stories, scenarios, and detailed level business requirements that support ongoing web and mobile application development.
    • Assess complex issues and provide recommended solutions in a timely manner.
    • Develop quality assurance regression test plans and user acceptance test criteria.
    • Collaborate with developers, designers, testers and subject matter experts to validate new web & mobile features.
    • Lead functional story testing on all development and production environments to verify that the solution delivered addresses client and stakeholder expectations.
    • Analyze metrics and data to answer stakeholder inquiries and recommend actionable next steps.
    • Keep abreast of leading technology best practices to recommend process improvements on an ongoing basis.


    • BA/B.S. required
    • Two to three years work experience in or with a software development organization
    • Demonstrated experience with Agile software development methods and roles.
    • Strong analytical skills including ability to analyze business problems and isolate and advocate best technical solutions.
    • Good project management skills; ability to manage and execute multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Excellent communication, flexibility and time management skills.
    • Proven success as an individual contributor, as well as a track record of strong positive teamwork, proactive collaboration, and effective problem resolution.
    • Commitment to quality and the role of testing in software development.
    • Preferred familiarity with web and mobile technologies: DWH, Google Analytics, JIRA, Urban Airship, & Cloud CMS is a strong plus.
    • Excellent attention to detail
