    About This Role:

    The Account Manager (AM) for premier accounts grows, uncovers, and develops opportunities globally within Forrester’s largest accounts. The AM is accountable for achieving specified new business revenue targets within clients while maintaining a relationship with the key stakeholders within the accounts. The individual will be working directly with Forrester’s research leadership and other key resources as necessary to formulate strategy and is rewarded for client retention and enrichment sales. Roughly 25% of the Account Manager’s time is spent on travel within the assigned territory.


    • Identify key VP-level and above influencers and buyers and build and maintain long-term, win-win relationships with them.
    • Proactively pursue business development opportunities with executive-level prospective and existing premier clients to meet renewal and enrichment goals.
    • Build a strategy and vision for growth by identifying opportunities where Forrester can add significant value by creating a solution leveraging our entire product portfolio (research, data, consulting and advisory).
    • Maintain a strong and accurate pipeline of opportunities aligned to drive required revenue results, and accurately forecast to ensure predictive outcomes.
    • Build credibility through an in-depth understanding of premier client’s business, organization, external environment and industry.
    • Strong collaborator with account team and Forrester ecosystem throughout the opportunity lifecycle to ensure excellent client outcomes.
    • Work with Premier clients as a trusted advisor to solve their problems, and challenge their thinking, to support them in driving growth.


    • Five-plus years’ experience selling to and managing complex Fortune 500 client relationships, achieving new business revenue goals, and managing personal sales strategies.
    • A background in sales and/or relationship management with financial services background preferred.
    • Experience working with and comfortable selling to senior marketing and technology roles.
    • Effective organization and time management skills; impeccable written and phone communication skills.
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
    • Intellectual curiosity – seeks to continuously build and apply their business and financial acumen and understanding of Forrester’s IP to be able to identify potential business opportunities.
    • Persuades and influences others in their interactions and communications (able to “tell the story”).
