    About This Role:

    The Sales Development Specialist works with the account managers to identify opportunities within named prospects. The Sales Development Specialist ensures a consistent and unified approach to selling Forrester services and promotes customer satisfaction and loyalty in a tightly defined sales process. This role deals with high-volume emails and in-person contacts, requiring strong organizational capabilities, attention to detail, initiative, and ability to work in a team.

    Responsibilities

    • Achieve designated call volumes and meeting-setting metrics.
    • Support account managers who sell/maintain relationship with technology marketing professionals, analyst relations professionals, technology strategists, CMOs, CTOs, CIOs, B2B market research professionals, etc.
    • Understand the goals, objectives, and/or products of a targeted set of companies, along with their specific management titles and organizational structures.
    • Perform name and organizational development at assigned accounts.
    • Engage clients/prospects via phone to outline the unique value proposition of Forrester and create sufficient interest to secure an introductory meeting with a Forrester account executive.
    • Develop an understanding of client’s business issues and how to articulate the value proposition of Forrester.
    • Understand the changing business and technology issues facing our client and prospect base.
    • Perform other sales-/client-support-related tasks.

    Qualifications

    • BS or BA degree or equivalent experience.
    • Proven success in client management or consultative selling.
    • Effective organization and time management skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong interpersonal skills.
    • A team player and a fast learner.
    • Technology-savvy.
