    About This Role:

    The Researcher is a critical member of Forrester’s customer experience research team, which creates and delivers research and client-specific advisory services to help customer experience professionals with their most significant initiatives and business decisions.


    The Researcher conducts primary and secondary research to assist analysts with their ongoing content; assists with client advisory and consulting deliverables; and supports the customer experience research team’s events.


    The Researcher is self-motivated; project manages multiple deliverables in flight at any given time; performs survey data analysis; produces powerful presentations; creates clear and concise written analyses; and prioritizes the needs of the team. Qualified candidates display a strong interest in customer experience.


    • Assist analysts in conducting primary and secondary research, analyzing findings, and structuring and producing reports and presentations.
    • Design and conduct interviews and surveys to gain insight into the practices and priorities of customer experience professionals who work in a broad range of industries.
    • Participate in vendor briefings, client inquiries, webinars, and industry events to help the team stay on top of industry trends and best practices. As needed, help the research team interface with Forrester’s sales, marketing, and editorial teams.


    • A strong track record of academic achievement — a B.A./B.S. degree at a minimum; a concentration in business, statistics, psychology, economics, or English is helpful.
    • At least two years of work experience in a digital commerce, market research, or consulting role.
    • Superior interpersonal and oral communication skills.
    • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
    • Facility in working with primary and secondary data; experience in organizing and analyzing raw survey data.
    • A thorough understanding of digital commerce trends, processes, technologies, and tactics.
    • A strong track record of writing clear and concise reports and analyses, and an excellent command of the English language.
    • Experience in successfully working independently with a team under tight deadlines, handling multiple tasks.
