  • Overview

Fuel your intellectual curiosity and professional growth. Forrester is an idea company, where smart, motivated, curious people bring a diversity of opinions and the courage of their convictions to collaborate on ideas that change the course of business. Most of all, bring a point of view; here, every voice has value. At Forrester, you’ll work with innovative clients at emerging and established brands; these are the business and technology leaders we inspire and who inspire us. The Forrester experience is built on a singular, powerful purpose: to challenge thinking and lead change.

    About This Role:

As a Solutions Partner, you will design solutions for our premier high-tech clients’ most challenging business problems and strategies to drive growth in the age of the customer. Common solutions will primarily center on marketing innovation, customer insight, content marketing, sales enablement, and product development. However, you will also support broader corporate initiatives on customer experience, digital and IT transformation, and security and privacy. You will represent the full power of Forrester’s product portfolio, working with product owners and subject matter experts to efficiently design a solution tailored to a client’s specific business objective. By orchestrating full-suite solutions, you will understand what drives your clients’ success, challenge them to think differently, and provide highly valued business insight to enable them to win, serve, and retain customers.

    • Leverage your business and financial acumen and knowledge of the value of Forrester’s products and services to bring new thinking and insights to business leaders and facilitate them in defining their objectives, challenges, risks, and opportunities.
    • Architect solutions drawn from Forrester’s products and services to address client objectives, needs, and opportunities.
    • Persuade and influence executive-level buyers by connecting with their concerns and issues and articulating the value of solutions in meeting their business needs.
    • Work with SMEs to create premier client proposals, enlist support for proposal reviews, and finalize scoping and engagement documents prior to coordinating with a client executive to enable the close.
    • Work closely with the product and consulting organizations to provide feedback and insights on how greater value can be provided to clients given changing market conditions and the business transformations they are driving.

    • A proven track record of adopting a consultative approach to strategic selling, facilitating conversations and building relationships with business leaders at the VP level and above — minimally CMOs, CIOs, CTOs, and CDOs — to help them define their problems and opportunities for growth (15-plus years).
    • A proven track record of organizational problem solving, making broad connections between business and market issues and envisioning multifaceted client solutions to drive growth (15-plus years).
    • Experience in marketing, specifically content marketing design or content management in a high-tech organization or agency.
    • Experience writing and presenting complex client proposals to the C-suite that leverage an organization’s full capabilities.
    • Relevant, transferable industry experience that includes the complexity of multiple intangible products and solutions, e.g., business consulting, professional services, and financial services.
    • A proven track record of successful sales opportunity project management, demonstrating the ability to leverage the right resources at the right time to complete client proposals.
    • Experience in account portfolio planning to identify growth opportunities and potential risks.
    • Experience gained in research, marketing, and technology strategy, e.g., leveraging digital solutions as drivers of change within organizations.
    • Experience in collaborating with remote clients, sales teams, and product and delivery teams.
