    About This Role:

    Forrester’s customer insights and analytics council advises senior leaders on how best to embed data, insights, and customer centricity into the strategies and operations of their organizations. Forrester provides a unique, big-picture perspective on customer insights through our depth of research, proven expertise, and partnership with clients. As a Senior Advisor, you’ll have the opportunity to leverage your experience, Forrester’s research, and council member insights to help clients drive strategy, execution, and growth at their organizations. On a day-to-day basis, Forrester Senior Advisors work with clients to understand their challenges, businesses, and markets and advise them on how to best take action.

    Responsibilities

    • Client advisory: Interact directly with clients (in-person and virtually) to connect research findings to their challenges, enabling them to build consistently successful customer insights and analytics programs.
    • Research participation: Collaborate with colleagues in the research organization and bring the voice of customer into the conceptualization and creation of research.
    • Data gathering: Work with a wide variety of organizations to gather key data about their priorities and operations to contribute to Forrester’s offerings.
    • Facilitation: Facilitate virtual and in-person council events, leveraging Forrester’s research to create engagement between clients.
    • Drive peer engagement: Accelerate interaction between peer council members to uncover peer insights and shared learning.
    • Council development: Work with other members of the council, product team, and sales and customer success partners to retain and grow council members.

    Qualifications

    • 10-plus years of experience, preferably in leading internal customer insights and analytics delivery or supporting strategic clients with this work at an agency or consultancy.
    • Experience in some or all the following areas: customer insights, market research, voice of the customer (VoC), segmentation, survey design and execution, customer analytics, cross-channel analytics, and data visualization.
    • The ability to build relationships and work with senior leaders in diagnosing needs, solving problems, and identifying relevant resources to enable clients to achieve tangible results.
    • A strong presenter and facilitator, with the ability to engage a senior-level audience.
    • Strong written and verbal communication and analytical skills.
    • Excellent collaborative and cross-functional partnership skills.
    • Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
