Fuel your intellectual curiosity and professional growth. Forrester is an idea company, where smart, motivated, curious people bring a diversity of opinions and the courage of their convictions to collaborate on ideas that change the course of business. Most of all, bring a point of view; here, every voice has value. At Forrester, you’ll work with innovative clients at emerging and established brands; these are the business and technology leaders we inspire and who inspire us. The Forrester experience is built on a singular, powerful purpose: to challenge thinking and lead change.

    About This Role:

Are you a seasoned marketing executive who can challenge the status quo, inspire others with innovative visualizations, help turn chaos into order, and transform ideas into reality? If so, you could be the next addition to our team. We’re looking for thought leaders to join the marketing executive advisory service within the SiriusDecisions product line. You’ll help clients with marketing strategy and planning, defining and effectively communicating marketing performance, guiding strategic marketing initiatives, optimizing marketing organizational structures, and implementing process improvement initiatives to drive their business productivity and performance. You’ll get to leverage your writing, speaking, and leadership expertise to advise clients on best practices and to impact their strategy, execution, and growth.

And as our marketing executive clients deal with increasingly complex changes, we need someone with experience to build and execute transformative initiatives in digital, in business models, or in go-to-market strategies.

    Responsibilities

    • Research generation. Prepare and write key SiriusDecisions product line advisory deliverables, including briefs, core strategy reports, client select practices/case studies, and blogs.
    • Thought leadership. Create new SiriusDecisions product line models and frameworks, tools, templates, assessments, etc., for our clients.
    • Client interaction. Communicate on the phone or in person with SiriusDecisions product line clients to review published research and data and to discuss business-related problems/issues.
    • Event support. Conceptualize and make presentations as part of client and prospective client events for the SiriusDecisions product line, including annual summits, forums, roadshows, and webinars.
    • Sales support. Tap prospective SiriusDecisions product line advisory clients via phone or in person and introduce them the demand marketing service, research topics covered, and key areas of expertise. Demonstrate the value of the service by sharing client examples, research, data, and other deliverables.
    • Data gathering. Contribute to data gathering and benchmarking efforts within the demand marketing service as well as across the research organization via question/response creation for both online (quantitative) and multiclient (qualitative) surveys.
    • Benchmarking delivery. Assist in the review and delivery of benchmarking findings to demand marketing clients.
    • Other client-facing activities. Assist with SiriusDecisions consulting projects as needed to support marketing executive coverage areas (e.g., business transformation, marketing strategy, organizational design).

    Qualifications

    • Ten-plus years’ experience as an advanced, effective B2B marketing leader in a global or BU marketing team.
    • Excellent writing and analytical skills as well as exceptional customer-facing skills (is a strong presenter, is at ease with an executive-level audience, and can identify issues/needs through effective questioning).
    • Experience in building and executing transformative initiatives in digital, in business models, or in go-to-market strategies.
    • Proven ability to develop outstanding B2B marketing teams.
