    About This Role:

    As a Principal Analyst for the content strategy and operations, you will help B2B marketing leaders in managing and optimizing their end-to-end content engines. We are looking for a creative problem solver with deep expertise in B2B content-related topics and drive and passion in solving highly complex challenges. Key areas of desired expertise include but aren’t limited to content strategy development, content marketing, content audits, asset management best practices (taxonomy and metadata), content measurement and reporting, content localization, and content technology rationalization. This role also entails exceptional writing, research, presentation development, analytical, and speaking skills that are critical in successfully engaging and advising clients on best practices to positively impact their strategy, execution, and growth.


    • Research generation. Participates in conceptualizing and writing key research deliverables, including research briefs, core strategy reports, webcasts, and event presentations.
    • Data gathering, management, and analysis. Works with a wide variety of B2B organizations and the SiriusDecisions research organization to gather key benchmark data and analyzes study results and SiriusDecisions Command Center data to understand and report on industry trends related to B2B content engine maturity.
    • Client support. Interacts directly with clients (telephone or in person) to review research findings and discuss and provide prescriptive recommendations on how to solve content-related problems/issues leveraging SiriusDecisions models, frameworks, benchmark insights, and other applicable research innovation. Can review and provide input on client work products, such as content assets, planning documents, and presentations.
    • Sales support. Works with our business development teams to grow the content strategy and operations service through sales and marketing activities and prospect interactions.
    • Consulting. Assists on ad hoc consulting projects as needed.


    • A completed bachelor’s degree is preferred.
    • 15-plus years of B2B strategic marketing leadership experience with emphasis on content strategy, content creation, and/or content management.
    • Elaborate writing, research, and analytical skills.
    • Customer-facing skills (a strong presenter, is comfortable with executive-level audience, and can identify issues/needs through effective questioning).
    • Excellence in facilitating workshops with senior business executives and their extended teams.
    • Proven positive impact from past experience.
