    About This Role:

    Are you an experienced product marketing leader with a passion for product, solution, industry, or services marketing? Have you spent time thinking about how to take a strategic approach to launch, enabling sales with knowledge and using buyer insights for audience-centric marketing? If so, you could be the next addition to our team.

     

    We're looking for a Principal Analyst to join our research and advisory service team within the SiriusDecisions product line. In this role, you’ll help clients with initiatives such as go-to-market strategy, buyer personas and insights, messaging and content, bringing offerings to market, and functional design and development. You’ll have the opportunity to leverage your exceptional writing and speaking skills as you advise clients on best practices and impact their strategy, execution, and growth.

    Responsibilities

    • Research generation. Prepare and write key SiriusDecisions product line advisory deliverables, including briefs, core strategy reports, client select practices/case studies, and blogs.
    • Thought leadership. Create new SiriusDecisions product line models and frameworks, tools, templates, assessments, etc., for our clients.
    • Client interaction. Communicate on the phone or in person with SiriusDecisions product line clients to review published research and data and discuss business-related problems/issues.
    • Event support. Conceptualize and make presentations as part of client and prospective client events for the SiriusDecisions product line, including annual summits, forums, roadshows, and webinars.
    • Sales support. Tap prospective SiriusDecisions product line advisory clients via phone or in person and introduce them the demand marketing service, research topics covered, and key areas of expertise. Demonstrate the value of the service by sharing client examples, research, data, and other deliverables.
    • Data gathering. Contribute to data gathering and benchmarking efforts via question/response creation for both quantitative and qualitative surveys.
    • Benchmarking delivery. Assist with the review and delivery of benchmarking findings to portfolio marketing clients.
    • Other client-facing activities. Assist with SiriusDecisions consulting projects as needed to support portfolio marketing coverage areas (e.g., go-to-market strategy, bringing offerings to market, and portfolio messaging and content).

    Qualifications

    • Ten-plus years of experience as an advanced portfolio marketing leader (or some combination of product, solution, industry, and/or services marketing experience).
    • Excellent writing and analytical skills as well as exceptional customer-facing skills (someone who is a strong presenter, is at ease with an executive-level audience, and can identify issues/needs through effective questioning).
    • Experience in transforming a business from product-centric to audience-centric using go-to-market strategies.
