    About This Role:

    You will be responsible for reviewing deal pricing and deal structure, and for making appropriate recommendations, leveraging analytical reporting and in collaboration with the VP of pricing, Deal Desk, finance and product managers.


    • Partner with the VP of pricing, Deal Desk, finance and product managers to review pricing and deal structure, and to make appropriate recommendations for individual deals (including large, complex and/or nonstandard deals), to help Sales close deals on time and at the required profit margin.
    • Have expert knowledge of the Forrester product and pricing catalog in Salesforce and develop internal pricing analytics to inform appropriate recommendations on pricing and deal structure.
    • Partner with VP of pricing and with the finance team to review or address revenue recognition concerns for nonstandard deal structures.
    • Deliver monthly reports on pricing and product metrics on time and with high quality to the VP of pricing, the product leaders, and the sales leaders to support decision making on price levels, pricing policies, and product portfolio development.
    • Support the VP of pricing with pricing analytics for pricing new products and solutions, competitive analysis, business cases for new products, pricing individual deals, new pricing policies and processes, and special projects including M&As.
    • Ensure that the pricing team has the necessary tools, systems, processes, and data to execute on its strategic objectives.
    • Engage with the leaders of product, sales, and other corporate functions and maintain a productive relationship that improves understanding of the key business drivers and facilitates effective decision making.


    • Bachelor’s degree with strong financial and computer skills and with two to five years of experience in contract pricing, price negotiations, and revenue recognition.
    • Experience with Saleforce.com and with CPQ tools (Salesforce, APTTUS, etc.).
    • Strong analytical and reporting skills and business acumen. Expert knowledge of Excel (modeling, manipulating, and analyzing large data sets, etc.) and of Tableau or other data visualization tools.
    • Outstanding presentation skills and knowledge of PowerPoint to produce insightful analysis to support the decision-making process.
    • Ability to manage multiple deadline assignments with many individuals representing a broad range of personalities.
    • Ability to build and maintain personal rapport with senior-level employees.
    • Someone who has a sense of urgency, a commitment to quality, and the ability to independently prioritize the most impactful tasks in a fast-paced environment.
    • A team player who has demonstrated the ability to partner with other corporate functions and who is comfortable coaching and being coached.
