    About This Role:

    Reporting to the Deal Desk Manager, the Contract Analyst is an integral part of the global contracts team within the finance department. The Contract Analyst must be a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and service-focused individual who can work independently to ensure:

    • Forrester’s compliance with the requirements of our US and Canadian government framework contracts.
    • Compliance of client contracts with internal business, finance, and sales policies.
    • Support to internal constituents in regard to internal business, finance, and sales processes and policies.

    This position is involved in several areas of the contracts lifecycle, including the administration of Forrester’s North American government framework agreements, support of the government business, exception approval for commercial deals, and system hygiene and audits. This role calls for interaction with accounting and sales teams as you work through the contract lifecycle and will also require reporting and special projects as needed.


    • Complete all tasks to ensure compliance with government awards such as reporting and submission of required payments.
    • Review and approve exception requests from clients.
    • Provide negotiation support for sales team.
    • Resolve issues by answering questions and requests from internal constituents, sales representatives, and clients about our contracts and contracts-related policies and procedures.
    • Identify, gather, analyze, and report on key contract metrics.
    • Provide back-up administration and support for the contract approval team.
    • Identify and develop process/system improvements that increase efficiency and effectiveness of your role.
    • Participate in ad hoc projects as requested.


    • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.
    • One to two years of finance/contracts and/or sales experience.
    • A detail-oriented and service-focused individual.
    • The ability to work under constant deadlines.
    • Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and interact with all levels across the organization.
    • Excellent organization and communication skills.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (required) and com (SFDC) (a plus).
    • Demonstrated ability to “connect the dots” through critical thinking skills and proven ability to own the role in a team environment.
