    About This Role:

    The Account Manager role is responsible for retaining and expanding services into current clients and selling into prospect accounts within a defined geographic territory. The Account Manager will meet face-to-face with current clients and prospects, drive a high client engagement and retention percentage, upsell and cross-sell additional Forrester services, and report directly to the respective district manager.


    • Develop existing client relationships within an assigned territory, meet with seat holders face-to-face (with up to 35% domestic travel), and leverage the company’s marketing activities as well as your own business development efforts.
    • Achieve a high client account retention rate by identifying and presenting solutions to clients’ needs and maximizing client satisfaction and engagement.
    • Position solutions for strategic business initiatives in both active client accounts and prospect accounts.
    • Create, write, and deliver value-based sales proposals to C-level decision makers.
    • Collaborate with internal management and other sales team members in the sales cycle and provide ongoing feedback to other business verticals within Forrester.
    • Build and continually develop an in-depth understanding of Forrester products and services.
    • Represent Forrester in a professional and ethical manner to clients, prospects, and colleagues.


    • Bachelor's degree.
    • A strong desire to develop and nurture client relationships to support our rapidly growing business.
    • Knowledge and experience in B2B sales or marketing.
    • Experience in a similar role with a successful track record, meeting or exceeding performance goals and metrics.
    • The ability to manage C-level relationships within medium-sized and enterprise B2B organizations.
    • Experience in delivering successful presentations and writing well-crafted messages to decision makers.
    • Experience in selling software products and solutions to C-level marketing and sales professionals is strongly preferred.
    • Consultative solution sales experience is a plus.
