About This Role:

The demand for high-quality business-to-business (B2B) operational data has increased the volume and scope of work conducted by our Diagnostics team. The Benchmark Data Partner is part of Forrester’s Research Analytics and contributes to data acquisition, data analysis, and client engagement for our B2B operational data. This role collaborates closely with stakeholders across research teams to help them develop and acquire high-quality data and conducts custom analysis of these data and leads client calls, providing business-focused insights based on the data analysis.


Job Description:

  • Collaborate with research teams to identify, design a measurement strategy, and collect data on strategic B2B operational metrics to support Forrester’s published research.
  • Work with stakeholders to identify project teams, build data collection plans and schedules, develop execution cadence, and manage issues and risks for B2B operational data deliverables.
  • Support Forrester’s Data Center of Excellence on internal stakeholder B2B operational data requests.
  • Collaborate with Forrester’s Data Center of Excellence to develop and deliver training on B2B operational data usage guidelines and best practices.
  • Conduct custom B2B operational data analysis focusing on organizational structure, productivity, budgets, or operations.
  • Lead client calls providing contextual business insight based on the data analysis.

Job Requirements:

  • Five-plus years’ experience in market research, including demonstrated skills in quantitative survey research management and data processing.
  • Background in quantitative data analysis such as crosstabs; familiarity with multivariate statistical analysis is a plus.
  • Sharp attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and high personal standards for quality and accuracy.
  • Success in translating complex quantitative analysis into simple, business-focused stories.
  • History of working closely with clients across a range of industries.
  • Excellent communication skills across a wide range of levels within an organization.
