Our job is to be bold at work.
It starts with an insatiable curiosity about clients, colleagues, and the future. At Forrester, we believe curiosity powers progress. Forresterites bring a diversity of opinions and the courage of their convictions to collaborate on the ideas and initiatives that change the course of business. About This Role

As a Senior UX Designer on the digital experience team, you will create user-centric designs for Forrester’s digital experience – how our clients and employees engage with our product offering through digital channels. You will help steer the design direction for our offering.

You are a passionate designer who will be responsible for crafting intuitive, actionable, and memorable digital experiences. You’ll accomplish this by gathering insights, ideating, prototyping potential solutions, testing solutions with users (clients and employees), and creating detailed design documentation to communicate ideas to development. You will act as an advocate for our users, championing inclusive and human-centered design practices.

Job Description:

  • Solve user problems by synthesizing behavioral information, user feedback, and user research insights into effective design concepts.
  • Craft design concepts, including sketches, user flow diagrams, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
  • Work with other designers to evolve Forrester’s design system (Tempo), and create designs that adhere to — and contribute back to — the design system.
  • Help expand the digital experience team’s design expertise through mentorship and encouragement of designers to produce their most creative work.
  • Partner with peers from our digital strategy, product management, and product technology teams to set the vision for Forrester’s digital experience.
  • Partner with our UX research team by participating in and sometimes leading user research, such as usability studies and user interviews
  • Clearly communicate compelling ideas (using presentations, prototypes, etc.) to a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Work closely with developers to ensure design specifications are implemented as intended
  • Create inclusive designs for all users and advocate for accessibility.

Job Requirements:

  • 3 – 5 years of experience as a UX designer, product designer, or similar role.
  • Skilled in developing design ideas that address both user and business needs.
  • Expertise in creating prototypes for testing with users and communicating design ideas to partners.
  • Experience collaborating with other designers and departments, working in cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated experience leading design projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience mentoring other designers is preferred.
  • An understanding of design systems and, ideally, experience using and contributing to one.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention detail during the design process and documenting of designs for handoff.
  • Proficiency in Figma or similar design tools.
  • Examples of critical thinking, creativity, and idea generation in design projects.
  • A portfolio of past design work that demonstrates your experience crafting usable and visually aesthetic digital interfaces.
