This role helps clients develop security strategies and informed decisions against risk by transforming their current IAM security practices and improve organizational efficiencies. Basic coverage includes best practices for workforce identity management/access governance, privileged identity management, identity as a service (IDaaS), multifactor authentication (MFA), single sign-on, and properly securing directory infrastructure.

  • Consults with clients to apply Forrester’s research within a business-environment-specific context and resolves their problems through inquiries, guidance sessions, and advisories.
  • Presents at Forrester-sponsored industry events and deliver client webinars.
  • Establishes an industry presence as an influential speaker and thinker and builds relationships with primary S&R pros, the technology vendors serving them, and journalists covering the sector.
  • Participates in vendor briefings and field press inquiries.

Job Requirements:

  • A strong academic record; a BA or BS degree or an equivalent experience.

  • Deep intellectual curiosity about technology’s impact on the business landscape; a solid business instinct; a practical understanding of how S&R pros operate; a creative view of markets, technologies, and attitudes; and fascination with the future.
  • Superior listening, critical thinking, and writing skills as well as memorable presentation skills; the ability to take complex, disparate ideas and distill them into simple, bold concepts and the willingness to take a stand on vendors and outcomes.
  • Knowledge of how particular issues vary by industry (government, healthcare, and financial services) is a plus.
  • An appetite for conducting and writing research; curiosity about new, emerging trends; and the confidence to guide executives in adopting best practices.
  • The ability to travel 15% - 30%of the time.
