About This Role: As a member of Forrester’s premier user east sales team, the Account Manager is responsible for cultivating and managing strong relationships, driving client engagement, and pursuing growth opportunities within a portfolio of Forrester’s premier accounts. By capitalizing on changing markets and digital disruption, the successful candidate will support clients in implementing business transformations and customer-obsessed strategies that will drive client growth in the age of the customer. As a trusted advisor to business and technology executives, this individual will build long-term relationships with leaders who drive and influence the growth of their business. Preferably with prior experience in selling business services to senior-level executives in a highly competitive market, candidates must excel at finding and closing new business, maintaining and building on current relationships, and commanding presence with their strong business acumen. Success in this position requires a transparent and repeatable sales process. The Account Manager must meet monthly and quarterly quotas, which will require upselling and cross-selling to existing clients. This entails significant prospecting efforts within client accounts to generate consistent, new pipeline by daily demonstrating Forrester’s capabilities and business fit to top executives.

As part of client-facing delivery teams, the Associate Consultant leads the project management function to ensure that engagements are on track against a specific scope of work and time frame. Working closely with other consultants and Forrester ecosystem roles, the Associate Consultant helps create high-quality consulting deliverables, such as market, customer, and competitor analyses; current-state assessments; IT maturity assessments; business cases; organizational capability assessments; vision and strategy documentation roadmaps and recommendations; guidance in the support of vendor selection; and more.   A key aspect of the role includes the collection and analysis of client, industry, and Forrester proprietary data serving as a critical input to project deliverables. The position also supports the research, development, and refinement of our consulting methodologies and offerings to help mature the practice. This is a client-facing role, and you can expect to be heavily involved in working directly with Forrester clients on their most challenging initiatives.   The ideal candidate has experience in one or more areas of customer experience, digital marketing, e-commerce, and technology or marketing strategy. The candidate must have a high level of intellectual curiosity and a strong desire to learn, applying a combination of strong analytic, writing, and communication skills. Successful Associate Consultants are exceedingly well organized and have a project management experience.

This role drives an innovative, actionable research and advisory plan that addresses the strategic needs of our CIOs, CMOs, and digital business leaders, with emphasis on digital transformation strategy, operational excellence, services partner selection, and technology selection and deployment.   The VP, Research Director leads a worldwide research team of six people and partners with both seasoned and new analysts to ensure that the team produces high-quality research that is continually calibrated to the current and emerging challenges our clients’ digital business initiatives face relating to enterprise platforms, digital experience architecture, global services and implementation providers.
