About This Role: We are looking for an Account Manager who can assist us in growing our existing account base in the US Federal Government, specifically with the Department of Homeland Security. Preferably with prior experience in selling business services to senior-level government executives in a highly competitive market, the candidate must excel at finding and closing new business, maintaining and building on current relationships, and commanding presence with their strong business acumen. Success in this position requires a transparent and repeatable sales process.   The Account Manager must meet monthly and quarterly quotas, which will require upselling and cross-selling to existing clients. This entails significant prospecting efforts within client accounts to generate consistent, new pipeline by daily demonstrating Forrester’s capabilities and business fit to top government executives. This position requires travel as needed.

About This Role: Reporting to the assistant controller, the Revenue Staff Accountant is a member of Forrester’s global revenue accounting team who is responsible for accurately recording consolidated revenue for all of Forrester’s entities. This position is a key role within the finance organization and works closely with the revenue team to ensure worldwide revenue is compliant with accounting and reporting standards. In addition to revenue responsibilities, this role assists the US accounts receivable team and has cross-functional opportunities to partner with Forrester’s sales and consulting organizations on various business processes that have a financial statement impact.

This practice helps CIOs drive their firm’s success in a hyper-digital and customer-led world.   The VP, Research Director will be responsible for defining a compelling and actionable research agenda that addresses the needs of CIOs and other technology innovators, constantly challenges their thinking, and helps them lead change. This person will be responsible for ensuring the quality of the research produced by the CIO research team.   Our ideal candidate must be able to partner effectively with both seasoned and new analysts. He or she must be passionate about helping individuals achieve their full potential as strategic thinkers and writers.   Finally, this person will be responsible for acting as an advocate and champion for the CIO role and research within Forrester and with our clients. This entails partnering closely with our global sales organization during the pursuit of new business opportunities as well as the enrichment of existing client relationships.
